The SmartOffice PN30U is the network-compatible* further development of the successful model PS30D. The compact scanner not only has an improved retraction mechanism with reversible wheels and an ultrasonic sensor, but also has improved image processing. Key feature of the new scanner is its extensive possibilities in network environments. Once integrated into the local Windows network, the device can be accessed from any workplace. Furthermore, functions such as scanning in FTP or network folders are available.

Already included is the Plustek DocAction and MacAction software. In combination with this and the two one-touch function keys, up to 9 different scan profiles can be retrieved, or configured user-specifically. In addition to searchable PDF files, Microsoft Office file formats and image formats such as JPG and TIFF can be generated. In addition, it can be defined whether to store the file in a local or network folder, to the printer, via email, via FTP, or to a cloud folder.
